Welcome to Happy Hour at the ranch– where we are gettin’ shit done! This is where our conversations are as raw and unstructured as your conversations over a drink at your favorite bar or a cup of joe at your favorite cafe. On our podcast we talk about life on the ranch, business, world happenings- which are also the things that buzz around a bar during happy hour. Join myself and my husband Nathan as we chat about all things intended to help each other connect, grow and thrive.

It is a misconception that if one meditates, eats healthy, exercises and chants from a mountain top that they will be in a forever delirious state of euphoria.  Everyone has an off day.  In this podcast Dee and Shannon discuss why that could be and what to do about it.

*Special note; this was a tough episode for us!  We almost didn't release it as it's not just because it is a difficult topic (hey that is what we are here to explore) but because we aren't sure if we covered it the way we intended.  We will re-visit this in the future.

Many of us, when told to utilize affirmations in order to change our lives, roll our eyes and humph in the opposite direction.  However, it is not just universal metaphysical hyperbole, but it is truly a scientific (even from a medial model) tool that has proven itself through massive research.  Affirmations change lives, and in this podcast Dee and Shannon discuss how they utilize affirmations to restructure thoughts, emotions and actions in order to reduce negative behaviors and create the life they most desire.
